Can I take part in Cardboard Citizens' Performing Arts Workshops if I am not homeless?
Unfortunately not - the Performing Arts Workshops are only open to homeless or ex-homeless people. Cardboard Citizens defines ex-homeless, as people that since joining the company have found stable or permanent accommodation.
I work for an organisation that is interested in partnering with Cardboard Citizens on a project that we have coming up - how do I contact you?
For enquiries about a Peer Forum Theatre project, having the Hostel Tour appear at your hostel or day centre, or having Cardboard Citizens appear at a conference you are organising, contact Project Manager Tracey Weller on 020 7247 7747 or email tracey@cardboardcitizens.org.uk.
For enquiries about hosting Performing Arts Workshops at your hostel or day centre, contact Project manager Cathy Weatherald on 020 7247 7747 or email cathy@cardboardcitizens.org.uk.
For any other issues, please contact administrator Stuart Grey at 020 7247 7747 or email stuart@cardboardcitizens.org.uk with your question, and he will direct you to the appropriate contact.
I am a student wanting information about Cardboard Citizens or Forum Theatre techniques, what information can you provide?
This website provides information about Theatre of the Oppressed and gives a recommended reading list. Due to the high demand of people studying theatre, we cannot respond to specific requests for extra information. We are in the process of collating an information guide for students, and expect it to be available soon. If you are studying for a postgraduate degree, you may contact Marketing Officer Sarah Murphy on 020 7247 7747 or email sarah@cardboardcitizens.org.uk with your question, and she may be able to help you.
Do you offer work placements in your company?
Yes we do offer work placements - both at Head Office and as assistants on specific projects. However, there are a limited number of places available each year. If you are interested in a placement with the company please complete the downloadable form available here.
How can I see Cardboard Citizens' work?
Cardboard Citizens works throughout London. If you are interested in seeing the company's work please join our mailing list and we will make sure that you receive information about shows and performances as they arise.
