Your donation will fund the following activities:
£10:
- enables a homeless person to receive expenses for travel and food so that they are able to attend a one-day workshop at a Cardboard Citizens venue - pays a volunteer mentor for their expenses to attend a workshop, so that they can provide support for homeless people who are accessing a new environment and skill
£80:
- pays a workshop leader to deliver one session, working with homeless people to develop new skills and facilitating their engagement with other education, training and support services
£300:
- pays a homeless actor for a week's acting work delivering workshops and performances to audiences of homeless people - pays a trainer to deliver a day of mentoring training to a group of volunteer homeless mentors, who can then go on to provide support for other homeless people who are accessing Cardboard Citizens activities
£500:
- supports a homeless person through a week-long course in forum theatre skills, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to inform and benefit others working with homeless people
£1,000:
- pays a workshop leader to run workshops for a term (12 workshops), enabling up to 15 homeless people a week to attend workshops, with support from a volunteer mentor
£2,000:- funds an Engagement Programme show at a hostel or day-centre, leading to homeless people engaging with education, training and support services
£2,500:
- funds Cardboard Citizens to deliver a day of training to staff of homeless agencies and other organizations to improve the way they work with and engage with homeless people
Leaving a gift to Cardboard Citizens in your will Including a gift to Cardboard Citizens in your will is perhaps the most special, personal way that you can ensure the legacy of creative opportunities for homeless people.
It is easy to include a gift to Cardboard Citizens in your will. If you feel you would like to proceed, we suggest that in the first instance you contact your solicitor who is best placed to give impartial guidance and will advise you on how to make a legacy to Cardboard Citizens. There is no specific wording that we require - however, you should include our charity number: 1042457
