
Dreams
13 December 2007Dreams was performed by a group of young refugees and asylum seekers aged between 15 and 25 and coming from 10 different countries. The group took part in intensive workshops at the Refugee Council in Brixton.
The shows took place at the Refugee Council, Brady Arts Centre and Oval House in December, and each performance included a short forum.
“Once upon a time there was a thing called dreams. A popular occurrence of the past, or an urban legend? No one seems to know what these dreams were, or how they’d disappeared. As time passed “to dr**m” became taboo, and “I dr**mt” became blasphemous…”
