Drama Workshops at Crisis

  • Info

New term of workshops at Crisis from January 2015!

The workshops are open to everyone who is or has been homeless, and are led by professional tutors.

Where?

Crisis Skylight, 66 Commercial Street, London E1 6LT (Click HERE for a map)

Forum Theatre every Wednesday 6-8 pm (10 Weeks)

Forum Theatre allows audience members to become 'spect-actors' and change the outcome of what they are seeing on stage. Used for over 20 years by Cardboard Citizens, this technique is now broadly used for education, community work and political action. It is also great fun!

The popular workshop introduces the theory, practice and application of Forum Theatre. This is an essential course in using theatre to rehearse changes in life.

NOTE: If you’ve never been to Crisis Skylight, please be aware you’ll need to register for their services. You can do this at the reception of 66 Commercial Street any day from 2.45pm. – please note if you haven’t registered with Crisis before attending your first workshop you may not be allowed access.
