Members are invited to join Reynaldo Young once a week to experiment, improvise and compose music.
During each session, participates will listen to each other (listening always comes first!) to speak purely through the sounds that the group's musical instruments and musical bodies are making.
This dynamic programme invites you to work on these sounds to discover your own original voices and reclaim our own voices.
All along this aural journey, participants will be exploring their own selves, as well as investigating what this communal sound-making and careful listening does to us.How does it change the perception we have of ourselves, of others and of the world?
The Noise of the Oppressed is FREE and runs every Tuesday from 11 October to 29 November, from 6.30pm-9.30pm. Members are welcome to bring their own instruments with them if they have one, but there is no need to bring anything.
Please note: These workshops are for Members only. For information on how to become a Member, click here.
