Craddock is all set on turning his life around on release from prison. All he needs is to stay away from drugs (including meds), get a roof over his head, some cash in his pocket and to sort things out with Mum. Not a lot to ask. The piece explores issues of mental health and stigma post-prison, and their link to homelessness.
Following work at the Normal? Festival of the Brain and training at Quarterhouse, Cardboard Citizens bring their Forum Theatre expertise back to Folkestone. A group of people with lived experience of homelessness will be invited to share stories, explore the issues and barriers they face. Through Forum Theatre they will be encouraged to identify some possible solutions to those issues. The piece will be devised with and performed by the Porchlight residents.
This is a scratch sharing as part of our National Creative Residency Programme.
