New course for people wanting to improve their public speaking skills
This one-day workshop combines theatre and coaching-based techniques and exercises to help you develop your public speaking skills, whether it is for giving presentations at work, delivering a speech at a conference or presenting at corporate meetings. We will cover a wide range of topics including confidence building, dealing with nerves, using your voice and body language for greater impact, telling stories, and how to connect with your audience. Above all, it is a personalised course with a maximum of six participants so that you get individual attention and plenty of time to practice new skills.
Irene Droemert is a coach and trainer with extensive prior work experience in public relations and marketing, in the UK and abroad. She supports people who want to feel more confident, overcome fears and anxieties, and manage stress. She also provides talks, training and relaxation classes for a range of organizations.
Adrian Jackson is a theatre director, translator, teacher and playwright. In 1991 he founded Cardboard Citizens, a theatre company that aims to change the lives of homeless people through the performing arts. He also teaches the Theatre of the Oppressed methodology all over the world and provides leadership and management training.
