Learn new skills and make new friends while sharing stories of home.
Each of us has an important and interesting story to tell about who we are. These three informal workshops will invite us all to get to know each other and share our creative skills as we tell those stories.
We’ll explore how our memories and experiences can be recorded and interpreted so we can talk about our lives in a positive way, and so we might bring about social change. Members can share as much or as little as they want, and we’ll use video, writing and drama as we create a piece of art work on the theme of what “home” means to us.
How do others see us? How can we talk safely about our lives, and how can we be creative when we describe who we are and where we are from? Learn new skills and make new friends while sharing stories of home.
