Storytelling through movement and dance with Ruth Orr
Join us for this series of dance and movement workshops this summer. Drawing on classical ballet and contemporary dance techniques, we will be exploring how we can convey themes, emotions and tell our own stories through movement. We will use a variety of different methods of inspiration including props, music and life experiences to create our own dance piece.
The course will be a great introduction to basic dance steps, link movements and how to think about the different ways they can be performed. During the workshops you will also discover ways of creating choreography and work towards performing your ideas and creations to other Members.
Come along with your own imagination and ideas. No experience necessary, just energy and enthusiasm!
Please wear comfortable clothing, no experience necessary.
