This one-off workshop is about creating dance through improvisation, expanding movement vocabularies, and discovering what collaborating with a digital system can do for creativity.
Choreographer and facilitator, Sarah Levinsky, will lead this intensive movement workshop as part of her PhD research. Experiment with a variety of digital technologies and dance, exploring habitual movement patterns.
Through playful work with Tools that Propel (known more personally as Tatiana) we will explore and create new movement ideas and new ways of putting them together. Over the two days of the workshop each participant will choreograph their own signature movement and explore their dancing identity in collaboration with technology.
