Rehearsals are now well under way for the ACT NOW ensemble performances as the cast devise a show to highlight the stigmas around youth homelessness. The play is designed to encourage young people to help each other if they recognise worrying behaviour amongst their peers.

The cast have been auditioned from the weekly evening workshops that take place at Cardboard Citz HQ, from here they have formed the ensemble who have developed the show.

The cast have been encouraged to write blogs about their process, the latest one by Beyoncé Meikle has have been published on the Southbank Centre website where the show will tour as part of their Violet Nights series.

“It's really cool to be able to see everyone's individual ideas come together and to be able to play around with them and see what we can do.”

The show will culminate in a small tour of performances to schools and young people across the city.
