Trusts & Foundations
Cardboard Citizens changes the lives of homeless and displaced people through theatre and the performing arts, occupying a unique space that bridges the worlds of the arts and social welfare.
Over the last 26 years we have enjoyed getting to know a vast array of Trusts & Foundations, who have variously supported us as theatre-makers, as educators, as tellers of the homelessness story.
Today support from Trusts & Foundations is integral to each and every programme we run, whether our national Forum Theatre Tour, our training and progression support for homeless participants, ACT NOW for young people at-risk of or affected by homelessness, or our larger scale theatre productions that shine a spotlight on the untold stories of the homeless. Contributing over 25% of our income, we rely on the support of Trusts & Foundations to sustain and develop the quality and scope of our work.
Over the next few years we want to meet more funders excited by the authenticity and transformative power of our work. By building strong relationships in this field, Cardboard Citizens can remain resilient in uncertain times for the arts and those working with the homeless.
