We are so excited to announce Cardboard Citizens has been shortlisted for a RBS Skills and Opportunities Fund and we need your help to get to the finals!

We are one of 18 London organisations who have been shortlisted across the country and we need as many people to vote for us as possible to get us to the final stage.

If we’re successful, we will be awarded £29,250 over 18 months to help fund our work around financial literacy and employment support for our Members (all of whom have experience of homelessness) through a project called Firm Foundations.

While Cardboard Citizens may be most famous for its work using theatre and the arts, we also offer our Members a variety of free workshops, masterclasses and training to help improve wellbeing and life skills in a huge range of areas.

The aim of Firm Foundations is for homeless and at-risk Londoners to gain a better understanding of how to manage their personal finances, learn to budget and make informed financial decisions. Through the training, information and support given we aim to help vulnerable people build sustainable futures and progress away from homelessness.

Following the public vote, RBS’ Regional Board for our area will decide which of the charities will be successful in their bid.

It only takes a minute to vote, so please show your support for Cardboard Citizens and its Members by voting now! Just choose London from the region options and click on Cardboard Citizens! You can also help us to spread the word by letting others know you’ve voted and sharing the link on Facebook and Twitter.
